10th EDITION MORGES INTERNATIONAL SCULPTURE SYMPOSIUM, SWITZERLAND
June 8 to 19, 2011
The 10th Morges Edition International Sculpture Symposium that was held in Switzerland last June 8 to 19 resulted in Gilbert ‘Bergano’ Alberto successfully winning two prestigious awards.
This was the first time that a single sculpture won two awards. First award was the public prize or gold prize, wherein only one prize for the stone category. Second award was the 2nd or silver for the Jury prize in the stone category.
Amongst the multitude of equally talented artists our representative was worthy of being a
winner, and it gives our country another nudge in our goal for global competitiveness.
